Why I Blog

Why I Blog

I am a writer. I have been most of my life. When my husband of 60 years died, I knew I had to stay busy or I would lose myself. So, I turned to my writing and decided to try for publication. My first book was published in 2013, and the second in 2015. I have completed a third, but it is a Novelette of about 30-35 pages so it hardly counts, however, it is with the Publisher as we speak, and I am hard at work on a Memoir. All of this has kept me busy and for that I am thankful. So you see why I blog
The other reason for blogging is that God challenges those who come to Him as followers to learn what He has for them to do, and the answer is that He wants us to be Messengers for Him. Not about just anything, but to spread the Word of the Gospel to others. This means that we are needed for a very particular reason and that is to tell of His life, death, and resurrection and of the time when it came for Him to ascend back into His home in the Heavenly Realm to be with the Father once more. The 'job' He left with man was that of spreading the good news because the news itself is a blessing and promises astounding information for all people of the world.  Why didn't Jesus do this Himself? His part was to make the blessing available. This He did and then He went home to prepare for those who would choose to follow Him. This is when the 'sharing' became our responsibility and our privilege. There are other examples, for instance Paul on the road to Joppa, Peter and Corneilius  and the Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch. There are many methods of sharing, from being an example to pulpit ministry. This is the method I have chosen for this part of my life. "Explore VISIBLE and INVISIBLE REALMS of GOD through WRITING and PICTURES" - Marie -2013
